About the convention
A decade of gathering, and counting.
The Peace & Unity Convention began in Abuja in 2015 and reached Lagos in 2018. This is its 11th edition. Over more than a decade it has become Nigeria’s foremost annual gathering of Islamic scholars, professionals, educators, youth leaders and charity-driven organisations.
Speakers have come from United States, United Kingdom, Austria, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, among others — which is what makes it one of the most internationally recognised Islamic events in West Africa.
Scholarship
Scholars from across the world on faith, family, development, health, business, leadership and social relations — the questions that actually shape a Muslim life now.
Teens, juniors and Early Years
Interactive sessions, youth empowerment programmes and family workshops, run by age group so a six-year-old and a sixteen-year-old each get a day built for them.
The halal marketplace
A hall of halal-certified stalls: books, modest fashion, food, technology, crafts and educational materials from businesses across the country.
A celebration of knowledge, unity, culture and community development — thousands of people committed to strengthening the Ummah and building a future rooted in peace, purpose and shared progress.
