The Youth empowerment project took off in 2024 through donation of seed funding. Similar to the 1Ummah Women Empowerment Fund, the seed fund has been invested in low-risk fixed income investments to preserve the funds. Proceeds from these investments will be deployed towards youth personal and business mentorship, and diverse entrepreneurship and educational development projects. 1Ummah aims to positively affect the trajectory of youth unemployment, youth social dislocation and moral rejuvenation through high quality and focused interventions in the three areas identified. We have a Unit head coordinating the project.
